How many photos will I receive from my session?

Accepted Answer

The number of images delivered is not capped.
Rather than limiting clients to a small selection of edited images, you receive all usable photographs captured during your session, following a professional review and culling process.
Unfavourable shots, such as closed eyes, motion blur or poor angles, are removed. Everything else is delivered.
Depending on session duration and scope, this typically ranges from several hundred images to well over 1,000, ready for immediate use across social media, websites, campaigns and brand materials.
This approach allows you to fully own your content library, rather than selecting from a restricted set of images.

Question 2

Are the images edited or retouched?

Images are supplied as captured, following review and quality control.
I do not shoot in RAW format, as my shooting approach focuses on achieving the final look in-camera, adjusting exposure, colour balance and lighting during the session rather than relying on heavy post-production.

As a result, most clients do not require additional editing.

If required, optional retouching (such as skin or blemish correction, or lighting adjustments) can be arranged for an additional fee.

Why don’t you limit the number of images delivered?

Do you use professional lighting during photography sessions?

Yes. Lighting is guided by the environment, natural conditions and how the imagery will be used.
Natural light is prioritised where possible, supported by professional portable lighting when needed to maintain clarity and consistency throughout the session. Lighting is adjusted in real time as the session unfolds, rather than relying on heavy post-production.

Lighting can also be intentionally shaped to suit your brand, whether that’s a lighter, airy aesthetic or a darker, more low-light mood - depending on the space and shoot requirements.

This approach allows imagery to feel elevated and natural, while remaining accurate to the space, services and movement being captured.

Can photography be combined with iPhone content?

Yes. In fact, most clients choose to combine professional camera photography with iPhone video content.
This is our most popular approach, as it allows a high volume of quality content to be captured efficiently within a single session, without the need for multiple creators or a larger media team.
By working across both devices concurrently, I’m able to switch seamlessly between photography and video, optimising time on the day while maintaining consistency across all content.
This creates a more complete and versatile content library, with video leading on social platforms and still imagery supporting websites, campaign assets, reel covers and long term brand use.

Why is there a photography session fee in addition to shoot time?

All photography bookings are structured as a produced service.

The session fee supports preparation, coordination, professional review and delivery - ensuring each session is planned, efficiently run and delivered to a consistent standard, rather than treated as casual hourly shooting.

When will I receive my content?

All images are reviewed, and delivered via a shared folder shortly after the session, typically within 24-48 hours.
Where edited content is added on, timelines are confirmed post shoot.

Do you provide creative direction during the shoot?

Accepted Answer

You’re welcome to share inspiration for specific shots; however, direction, posing and movement are actively guided throughout the session where required.

This ensures the final imagery translates effectively on the day and is appropriate for the models selected, as not all reference imagery can be replicated across different features, body types or settings.
